School Crossing Guards Needed
Full Job Description:
The Township of Raritan is looking to hire individuals for the position of School Crossing Guards. You can be an important member of a successful team of individuals committed to the safety of school children in the Raritan Township community. School Crossing Guards work two 45 minute shifts per day. One shift in the morning, prior to the beginning of the school day, and one shift in the afternoon during school dismissals. While guards work 45 minute shifts, they are paid for one full hour of work. Guards work Monday through Friday when school is in session. Guards do not work holidays or weekends. During the regular school year guards assist township elementary and middle school students at designated locations within Raritan Township.
Position Details:
- $15 per hour to start
- Paid training
- Accrued Sick Time
- Must be a NJ resident
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Must successfully complete a medical screening (by a certified physician of your choice)
